Work

We write one up only when the client has agreed to be named and the numbers are ones we measured ourselves. Nothing has cleared both yet, so this page is short — but a call is not.
In preparation
Two things hold a write-up back, and both are worth waiting for. The client has to be happy to be named, which is a conversation we would rather have properly than quickly. And the results have to be numbers we took from the system ourselves, with the measurement described well enough that you could argue with it.
Until then we would rather show you nothing than show you something we could not defend on a due-diligence call. A page of unattributable percentages is not evidence, and you should discount it wherever you see it.
What we can do is talk. Tell us the problem you are looking at and we will walk you through the closest thing we have built — the architecture, what we got wrong first, what it cost — in as much detail as our agreements allow. That is more useful than a case study anyway, because you can interrupt.
Ask about the work that is not written up yet
Thirty minutes with the engineers who would do the work. Bring the problem, and we will tell you what we would do about it — including when the answer is that you do not need us.
